RulesEOJ 2016 is an agility competition which is officially recognised by the FCI and is based on the FCI Agility regulations of 2012. The competition is open to all dogs, with or without pedigree. Each dog has to have a record book issued by a National Member Organisation of the FCI or a National Organisation with a close relationship to the FCI. All National Member Organisations of the FCI or National Organisations with a close relationship to the FCI are invited to participate in this event. The number of competitors is limited to approximately 400 teams, of which a maximum of 50% may be in the category "Large". Each National Organisation has the right to nominate competitors and to send the entries to the organizer by May 31st 2016 at the latest. Team leaders of the countries will send an information email to eoj2016@skiper.sk and then will receive a confirmation of registration. If countries decide to have a qualifying competition, this must be open to all dogs (with or without pedigree). A list of all those countries choosing to send entries through their respective National Organisation will be published on the competition website. Competitors from other countries may send their entries directly to the organiser till June 15th 2016. Each country may register no more than 24 teams. If the allocation in category Large of a country is filled further entries of that country will be put on a waiting list. The inscriptions are accepted in order of entry. The host country is entitled to register by 12 teams more. No more than 50% of registered teams may be in the category "Large". The combination of the teams must be reported by June 15th 2016 at the latest. After this date the organizer will combine remaining participants who are not members of any team into new teams. EOJ 2016 Categories
• Children - under 15 (born 2002 and younger) The minimum age of any competing dog is 18 months. The handler has to have the nationality or an appropriate registering country. Handlers with dual nationality are allowed to register only for one country. EOJ - individualsThe Individual competition is held in the categories Large, Medium and Small divided into children and juniors. There are two rounds (jumping and agility). The second round is run in the reversed order according to the results from the first round. The winner is the one with the best result sum from each round and will gain the title "EOJ 2016 Winner" Children/Juniors in each height category. EOJ - teamsThe Team competition (mixed Children and Juniors) is held in the categories Large and a combined Medium/Small. The teams in the category Large consist of 3 to 4 handler and dog teams, and teams in the category Medium/Small consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 handler and dog teams whereby the ratio of Small and Medium dogs is not prescribed. There are two rounds in this competition - jumping and agility. The 3 best results of each team are counted. The team with the best overall result will gain the title "EOJ 2016 Winner Team" separately for the category Large and Small/Medium. Veterinary Inspection and Identity CheckDuring the attendance check the identity of each dog will be checked. All competitors have to hand over a record book or a license issued by a National Organisation. Each competitor will submit a document with his/her photograph confirming the date of birth. The dogs which failed the veterinary inspection are not allowed to take part in either competitions or trainings. OtherEntry fee: 30 EUR/team for individual and team competition, 20 EUR/team for only individual or only team competition. During trainings it is not possible to re-set up obstacles, it is allowed to adjust them for different height categories. |
